BHO's spiritual advisor. Proof positive that some people look for religion that "fits" their needs/desires.
Read up on this man and you will find out some interesting things. (and we all thought Rev. Wright was dangerous)

And he's not a "spiritual advisor" per se.

He serves on the advisory board for White House Office of Faith-Based and Neighborhood Partnerships.

White House Office of Faith-Based and Neighborhood Partnerships - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

OFBCI was established by President George W. Bush through executive order[2] on January 29, 2001, representing one of the key domestic policies of Bush's campaign promise of "compassionate conservatism." The initiative sought to strengthen faith-based and community organizations and expand their capacity to provide federally-funded social services, with the idea having been that these groups were well-situated to meet the needs of local individuals.

So picking a person who defends social programs with Christian beliefs (as wrong/controversial as that might be to some) to advice an office that provides social services through Faith-based organizations doesn't seem that crazy to me.

"Which returns us to Jim Wallis. In many respects he is, ironically enough, the mirror image of the late Jerry Falwell. Like Falwell, Wallis is drawn to power and attention like a moth to a flame on a dark summer night. Like the former founder of the Moral Majority, Wallis takes biblical principles and simplistically connects the dots to public policies he supports. He has, as the Reverend Falwell had, enormous confidence that he knows the mind of God on matters of politics. And Wallis says harsh and irresponsible things about those who hold views different than his. It is reasonable to say, I think, that there is little evidence of a spirit of grace and reconciliation in the words of Wallis."

You have found his "official" title....but make no mistake, he is BHO's closest personal spiritual advisor, just as Wright was before he was exposed.....great track record BHO has going huh?

Jim Wallis is a Soros puppet for one and a long time supporter of international communism for another;

"Jim Wallis has had relationships with the communist Committee in Solidarity with the People of El Salvador (CISPES). "

Obama himself mentions, in a 1983 article he wrote while at Columbia College, the org, CISPES (Committee In Solidarity with the People of El Salvador). They apparently are still around, and are as red as ever.

Barack Obama, 1983:
"Breaking the War Mentality"

"At the heart of our organization is an anti-war focus," says junior Robert Kahn, one of SAM's fifteen or so active members. "From there, a lot of issues shoot forth -- nukes, racism, the draft, and South Africa. We have been better organized when taking one issue at a time, but we are always cognizant of other things going on, and collaborate frequently with other campus organizations like CISPES..."

Thomas Sowell explains, “It would be devastating to the egos of the intelligentsia to realize, much less admit, that businesses have done more to reduce poverty than all the intellectuals put together. Ultimately, it is only wealth that can reduce poverty, and most of the intelligentsia have no interest whatever in finding out what actions and policies increase the national wealth” (Capitalism Magazine, May 9, 2005).
---------------------------------

Socialism is built on a slogan: “What can government do for me today?” instead of “What can I do to better prepare myself to take care of myself in order to be a better Christian and servant of my Lord?” Preparation involves individual responsibility, traditional family values, education, love of God and neighbor, and compassion for the up-and-outers as well as the down-and-outers.

Socialists stand against nearly every Christian, conservative principle imaginable. Compare the socialist agenda with Yale professor David Gelernter’s summary of the conservative position – “the freedom of every American to make his own way, free speech on the radio and everywhere else, free elections for workers and other people … freedom to acknowledge and celebrate the nation’s rootedness in Christianity, Judaism and the Bible … love of liberty and love of God” (National Review, March 23, 2009, p. 32).

In 2006, Barack Obama was the keynote speaker at Jim Wallis’ Call to Renewal conference, “Building a Covenant for a New America.” Following his address, in an interview by the United Church News, he cited “the teachings of the UCC (United Church of Christ) as foundation stones for his political work.” He said, “Just as my pastor, the Rev. Jeremiah Wright from Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago, welcomed me as a young man years ago, UCC churches across the country open their doors to millions of Americans each Sunday . … I believe that democracy demands that the religiously motivated translate their concerns into universal values. Social justice and national security are both universal values, values that may originate for some in their religious beliefs, but are shared by us all.”

What Americans can look forward to now that Rev. Wallis has the ear of the president is what Sojourners magazine has been pedaling since 1971 – “advocating America’s transformation into a socialist nation” (Accuracy in Media Research Report, May 1983, Section 19).

Breitbart.tv Obama Advisor Jim Wallis Explores Wealth, Marxism & Social Justice

Jim Wallis' doctrine has no more to do with the Gospel of Jesus Christ than does that of Wright or Cone.

On the contrary it promotes envy, hatred and violence and that is one of the main factors that contribute to the fact that these people so often have close associations with promoters of islam, another vile doctrine that encourages hatred and violence.

Wallis likes liberation theology. Wallis thinks the US is a "fallen nation".

"Black theology will accept only the love of God which participates in the destruction of the white enemy. What we need is the divine love as expressed in Black Power, which is the power of black people to destroy their oppressors here and now by any means at their disposal".--James (Jim) Cone.

Keep moving on along.

This isn't racism.

Also has alot to do with "Collective Salvation" of the US as a whole! Not the individuals Salvation.
