Jimbo Is Losing Control of His Program

Given the situation that they're all in, many outcomes are possible. Jimbo could just go through the motions, but it's not fun, and he's a very rich man. That is about the only deterrent, I guess, from staying another 4 or 5 years. But I think more likely he'll hire an offensive coordinator. If his recruits decide to stay, and get a year or two older, they might actually become very good, but I don't see how they can without replacing his "offense". I guess we'll see. I just don't recall when I've ever seen a team be 200th at ANYTHING. They're actually 108th in FBS which is not exactly dead last, but respectably close. Coincidentally they're just almost tied with Vanderbilt in total YPG at 341.

I suppose it is natural to predict "oh all these bad things in the future ha ha ha" but we just don't really have that imaginary information. It's enough for me to laugh at what they've already failed at. These freshmen, I think, were smoking dope somewhere in football facilities, and certainly there might be a lot of (as they say in the zone) Pre-madonnas on that team.

P.S. This is an IQ test for the boosters, for sure. If he does get fired, we'll just see if they've learned anything.

Are those rankings including both FBS and FCS schools (which is really dumb, if so)? There are only about 130 schools in FBS.

How do you smoke weed in the football complex? How dumb can you be?
People smoke it everywhere in Nashville nowadays and it’s still illegal here unless you have a terminal illness and two doctor notes. People who smoke regularly are getting accustomed to doing it wherever they happen to be.

@VolunteerHillbilly is right. Most weed smokers now conflate the growing acceptance of weed, or the decriminalization of it in lots of places, with "I can smoke anywhere and nothing will happen to me."
True, but it’s a locker room. Even if your of age you don’t drink in the locker room in college sports. You still get tested for it. Why not wait to go basically anywhere else?

That's a pretty good article, but I would seriously question whether A&M is the most morally bankrupt staff and program in America. I'm not so sure about that.

Surely these NIL deals they signed have language in the contract that if they leave A&M, the contract is voided, right?

Do they think they can just quit at A&M and immediately/easily go sign another comparable NIL deal with another school?
