Not a fan of Dave's work?

Sorry, I should have picked another example.

His record looks nice and he's done a good job but I'm hesitant about going down the MAC road after going down the WAC road. Sure, there are Urban Meyer's and Chip Kelly's to be had but it worries me. It would also concern me that prior to him, Jerry Kill took over a program that had gone 7-5, 7-6 and was coming off a 2-10 season when he took over. Kill improved their record every season by going 6-7, 7-6 and 10-3 before taking the Minnesota job. Doeren has shown he can win with Kill's recruits and maybe he'll continue winning with his own but I would like to see it first. His tenure has been impressive but it's only been two years and ya just never know what will happen down the road when Kill's players are gone.

Last week or so I remember Jimmy Hyams saying he doesn't have any sources anymore and he doesn't know anything these days.

I agree...it needs to be a safer bet than him. Someone a little older.

Hyams is no different than some of the people on here except he is on radio. He has sources, others have sources but that doesn't mean their sources are accurate. A lot of it is just opinions. No one knows what is going on except for Hart and his inner circle. Heck, a snag is common in negotiations until both parties agree to terms or break it off.

All you have to do is ask yourself one question..... Has Jimmy Hyams ever been right about anything???? Wasnt he saying Hart would give Dooley one more year no matter what the outcome of November??

Hyam's is reporting this on the last coaching search, not the current one. Sometimes he is a little behind.

here's what I propose if you live in the Nashville area:

if Gruden is hired, then every Monday and Friday when Jimmy Hymans does his "UT insider" segment on 104.5, we should all call in and point out the examples that demonstrate how laughable it is that anyone considers this dbag an insider.

Kiffin: wrong
Black jerseys: wrong
Gruden (potentially): wrong

fill in any other examples you've got.

Hyams said Marlon Brown to Ohio State IIRC.

Jimmy Hyams is like the dish of turnips at Thanksgiving---you eat all the good stuff and then it's like "who the h*** made turnips?" and you end up throwing them in the trash.

He is the gift that keeps on giving.

Larry doesn't have the same connections that he used to. Too much smoke out there. I respect Larry as a person and he is very knowledgeable...but I believe he is wrong here.

Lol

Step away from the cliff Larryites.

AD is silent which means his 'sources' are silent. Same goes for Hymen.

Its getting tough to concentrate on other things with so many twists and turns to the Gruden deal

I wish that someone would punch Jimmy Hyams right in the mouth! He was half as smart as he thinks that he is, he would be the next coach!
