Look at skin's post in this thread. He is complaining about us older folks working. I believe that is the only post I have ever read on VN complaining about people actually working.
And do you know why he's complaining? Because companies do NOT want to hire Gen Y and millennial. I speak from experience. Companies would rather hire a 50 or 60 year old because of worth ethic and communication skills.
I recently offered some millennial's a chance to earn $15 an hour on a landscape project. When they found it was labor, they wouldn't touch. I end up with two guys over 50 who worked like rented mules.

Job creation surged in November, with the U.S. economy adding a dazzling 321,000 positions though the unemployment rate held steady at 5.8 percent.
Economists were expecting 230,000 new nonfarm payrolls jobs for November, with the unemployment rate holding steady at 5.8 percent. The reported number for October was revised higher to 243,000 jobs.

Wage growth. They still aren't seeing any, but there are signs that it's trending up. That's good. If we start to see wage growth, then I'll start trusting the UE numbers. Means the slack is starting to be taken out.
