I don't think leadership has anything to do with it. US took a beating economically in 2020 when the virus appeared. Didn't matter who was president. Job returns now? Also doesn't matter who is president. If Trump was in office the media would just be downplaying it off "but we lost so many jobs last year this was going to happen regardless once a vaccine is in place". Since Biden is in office, his supporters will frame it as some miracle of Biden. The significant job loss last year was due to Covid. Inevitable that once a vaccine became available and things started opening up that jobs would pick up.

Facebook meme trash.

I don't see how anybody can argue / compare job growth between Trump and Biden with the pandemic playing such a big role.

Does smack a bit of bragging about new construction projects in Nagasaki after August '45.

Wouldn't the only meaningful comparisons have to start with what Trumps pre-'Vid numbers were?

This is more like LSU cancelling the football program, firing Saban, hiring Miles to start the program again, and Miles bragging that he's boosted football scholarships by 85 over the last guy.
I like your metaphor better than mine. The only thing I would change is instead of Miles insert Joe Lee Dunn. Comparing Miles to Biden is a slap in the face to Miles.
