We really need a laugh reaction on here

It's not a church problem it's a childcare issue. I'm just submitting alternate ideas to your made up numbers and you get all defensive. Try to be a little more open minded

And I would say that you are getting ganged up on with your assessment of the issue.
Try to be a little less butt hurt.

Shocked I tells ya

"Friday's jobs report "could indicate that labor shortages are becoming a significant drag," Michael Pearce, senior U.S. economist for Capital Economics, wrote in a note Friday."

why might we be experiencing labor shortages? Hmmmm, I'm at a loss

Didnt realize I’d be pulling this back up so soon. Joe’s crushing it people are so flush with cash they don’t need no stinking job 🤡
That’s what’s gonna happen right now. Then when they eventually cock it up and they will, it will be back to “but Trump caused this and we have to clean it up”

And the chaser after the shot. Listening to the asswipe deflect to Trump right now on his lousy ass jobs numbers 🤡

Potato in Chief just remarked “we’re on the right track” and he’s laser focused. It’s actually worse when you read the details.

Local government education increased its payroll by 31,000 as children returned to in-person learning. Social assistance, meanwhile, rose by 23,000, while financial activities increased by 19,000. But employment in professional and business services tumbled by 111,000 in temporary help. Support services shed another 15,000 positions. Manufacturing lost 18,000 workers, and courier help fell by 77,000.

US hiring sharply misses expectations in April with just 266,000 new jobs added

Does anyone remember during the 08 recession when the UE benefits were slated to run out the unemployment numbers magically jumped and a ton of jobs got added? What a mysterious occurrence.

if you watched Biden's press conference today you know he doesn't remember it - but then again he doesn't remember much

Listening to Yellen right now it reminds me of the Obama days and why things like the "summer of recovery" didn't materialize:

Do you think we'll ever get back to 65%+?

Depends entirely on the government and how much disincentive to work they put out there. The only thing being offered by Team Biden that might help this is monies for people to pay for child care - almost everything else they are suggesting will depress the number.

Interestingly, the chart shows that the Trump years showed the only upward trend (though slight) in this number.

Real economic growth coupled with removal of disincentive policies is the ticket
