YouTube - Joe Dauscha Senior Highlight

This guy is a senior this year.. tullahoma high just finished up a week ago with a loss in the third round.. the kid is a beast but is not being heavily recruited because of his height... he is the state weight lifting champion for this year and holds records for his high school... the team played some of the best competition in the state like riverdale, columbia, blackman, and multiple others... in his final game which is not on the highlight film.. the first play of the game he pancacked shaq mason from columbia who is going to georgia tech.. this shows wat the dauscha kid deserves.. i put this on here in hopes that someone would see the talent this kid has, as i have been privaleged to watch him all year!! so again # 71 LG.. Kid is full of HEART

5A high school football so pretty impressive, and in preason they play the best like riverdale and others... also played blackman, seigel, and columbia who beat knox catholic!!!! he is 6'2 285, and i really see him getting taller!!! his dad is 6'5... im telling you i would not have posted this if i did not think he could be higher recruited lineman!

Pass blocking he is getting by on strength alone, needs to work on footwork otherwise he's going to get beat at the next level but something that can certainly be taught. Seemed to do pretty well against some pretty stiff competition.

He needs to be a little quicker off the line though, defenders beat him to it a couple of times and the initial hit drove him back more than a few times but his strength wins out.

Strong kid, but footwork is probably too slow to help SEC-caliber teams. When Tullahoma played Columbia in the state playoffs, Shaq Mason (Georgia Tech comittment) blew past him on several occasions. From all accounts this is a very good kid and has to be a hard worker to get that strong. Speed (or lack thereof) will kill you, even on the line. Can you imagine this kid attempting to block Jacques Smith? Smith would leave him in the dust.

yea i agree.. good point. His work ethic is one of the best you will find though and i think that is what makes something to not pass up on.. especially with school like middle and utc, etc...

Acc'd to his website (yes, he has a website...), he camped at MTSU, UTC, and at UT.

JOE DAUSCHA

I haven't seen the video, but just from his size/strength, it sounds like he can definitely play somewhere. Just a matter of finding the level for him, whether it be D-II or FCS or whatever.
