Expect the Tennessee staff to be at White Station High School at noon Thursday when the April contact period kicks in. Also, expect Pastner to go to great lengths to keep the city's best prospect at home. Jackson's recruitment is gearing up to be an epic in-state battle between Tennessee coach Bruce Pearl and Pastner.

"I like Tennessee a lot, but that's a negative I would have to say," Jackson said matter-of-factly. "That's a lot of guards. I want to go somewhere that I can start as a freshmen, or at least know that I'm going to play a lot. I still like Tennessee, but that is something that I look at."

If we get Jackson, I could see us starting three guards in 2010-11, like we did in '07 and '08.

Two top 30 guards in one class, hopson, tatum, craft, maybe goins. That's a pretty guard heavy team.

I'm not sure if I'd consider Tatum, Craft, and Goins much threat, especially if we'd be running a 3 or 4 guard lineup again.
