I never said there was no chance. I said there was a lot of work to do before there was any point in really discussing it. UT has done a great job closing out the season. Most impressed with the LSU win, showing they can beat a solid team on the road, not named Florida, was something they hadn't done til last week.

I have, and I'll admit that I spoke too soon. I guess there's something to be said for not counting chickens, right?

Like i said, UT did a great job closing out the season. I spent the weekend with UT fans in NOLA routing for UT to anihilate Vandy, and I actually predicted a 12 point win by the Vols (I was a little off).

But you've still got work to do. Maybe wait for the gloating til next sunday?

I'm not gloating saying we will make it. Simply saying awhile back I said this team still had a chance at an at large, you ridiculed me for it.

Saying that the Vols still have a chance, albeit a 0.00005% chance, while technically true, is a ridiculous statement to make, and there were quite a few people ridiculing you.

No one can deny that Tennessee had "a chance" at an at-large bid. But again, don't count your chickens...

Some people choose not to be optimistic, however I choose to be. Some on this board agreed others didn't, but I'm simply pointing out that chance proved itself.

I'm not counting anything, If they lose and go NIT in fine with that. Great season!
