Joe Milton Appreciation

IMO….we should just let those type comments alone. They are CLEARLY meant to garner attention and create animosity. And ole proverb says….”when you wrestle with a pig you both get muddy…but the pig doesn’t care”. 🤷
I agree in part but I don’t think letting idiots go unchecked is a good policy either.

And it’s amazing how much of this is OUT there. I guess there’s a lot of sad, miserable people in the world that want to make everyone else miserable - whether that’s intentional or not. We all have our bad days I suppose.

Thanks Joe for being a standup guy and a role model for everyone at UT. Appreciate your hard work and you being a classy guy in an age when most people are ugly inside (and out lol).

A true VFL. Go light up the League hoss. We will be cheering for you lifetime. Just like Dobbs and Hooker.

Best of luck to him. Day 3 pick at best IMO

While Mel Kiper's opinion certainly isn't the Bible, he currently has Joe as the 10th best QB in arguably the best QB draft class we've seen in quite some time. I mean when Heisman winner Jayden Daniels is being talked about as possibly the 5th or 6th best QB, you know the class is stacked. And this is before the combine where his skill set will absolutely floor the scouts. I wouldn't bet the house on it, but I think there is better than a decent chance he gets drafted in the first 3 rounds. The arm strength is unmatched in the entire NFL currently and his overall athletic ability will rank among the best in the class as well.

Class act. Whatever you think of his play (which was still far better than we've had at times) Joe the person is exactly the kind of guy you want repping your university and influencing the program. Thanks for being a remarkable example Joe!

He is so close to being the ideal prospect. Just slightly better touch and he's a top 10 pick. Will Levis's success with the Titans is good for Joe's draft prospects.

Gods Luck, Joe! As always, I have enjoyed the UT games, good, bad, or indifferent. Your positive attitude and team spirit are the credentials that will make you successful in anything you wish to accomplish. I'll be rooting for you!

Someone will fall in love with the potential of Milton. No idea where he gets drafted but I think it’s higher than most think.

I actually know a guy (just happens to be a huge Arkansas fan) who told me himself he LOVES to go to other message boards and create havoc. He takes rivalry to another level like hatred (I’ll never understand that) of the other team and their fans. IMO that is simply SICK and as I told a Memphis Tiger fan recently who HATES anything Vols when he told me HE LOVES it when Vols lose in anything …”YOU MUST HAVE REALLY BEEN MISERABLE IN THE LAST FEW YEARS”😂 He got my point but didn’t like it!

Give this guy an NFL Oline, NFL WRs and a decent D and he can succeed at the next level.

Very grateful for his contribution to Tennessee's proud football heritage.

Orange Bowl MVP and a Dabo beat down are historic.

We're glad you became one of us, Joe.

Vaya con dios, Big Man.
I am actually not going to read past your post, but I agree 100%. It has been fun watching the enigma that is Joe Milton III. I won't read past because I am positive there will be some "fans" post the opinions in this thread and I won't be able to keep from getting more posts deleted. Thank you for a very good thread and thank you Joe Milton for giving your all for UT.

Wishing him nothing but the best. Class act and underappreciated.

With Memphis State fans, it’s an inferiority complex. Look no further than the name change from Memphis State to University of Memphis.
They will always be Memphis State to me.

I hope he blows up in the League. Dude has been a class act here.
I hope he does as well, but even if he ends up being an NFL backup QB for 5-10 years, that's pretty good. I suspect he'll have a more Josh Dobbs like NFL career, playing backup for several seasons and maybe getting a shot at starter several years down the road.

That's likely more realistic. Still tons of money to be made as a backup though.
