Joe Milton begins his Heisman season tomorrow

He had a good game. Looked great running the football. Had one series where he seemed off throwing the ball but Hooker had some bad series too. Other than that he was fine.

How many completions were longer than 20 yards? I can only think of the to Keyton in the second quarter.

I don’t know what to think, honestly.

This may sound silly but I think Jessie Palmer’s tone throughout the game did nothing to help my perception of our beastly QB. He missed some throws but he isn’t any less accurate than the other QBs I’ve seen today. The difference is is that when Ohio State’s QB misses a throw you don’t hear Gary Danielson over analyzing it. No QB hits every throw.

He completed 70% of his passes with one give me dropped. I’ll take 70% every game and take our chances.

Joe takes care of the ball 1st and foremost. That greatly increases our win %. All else is gravy.

They only threw over 10 yards downfield about 5-6 times and 1 was dropped. UVA was playing deep and giving up the short pass so we took advantage of it.
