Joe Milton nickname

As I mentioned in the other thread, I always was partial to GI Joe (it even comes with a cartoon superhero theme song).

Other than that, I like The Missile. Doesn’t have any previous connotations or refer to stale bubble gum.

Bazooka Joe for me.

Also 1 more opportunity to publicly say I was frustrated with the guy at the end of the Ole Miss game. But what a teammate/man/brother…. We are damn lucky to have him on our side. Results be darned….he goes 6-6 next year I’ll never question his loyalty or effort. Thankful he’s a Vol!
He just played a great game against the number 7 team in the country… Why would you assume he will go 6-6 next season.

There certainly is precedent for that. Notre Dame had Raghib Ramadian "Rocket" Ismail, and his younger brother, Qadry Rahmadan Ismail, was nicknamed "the Missile" and played for Syracuse.

Joe, however, is more of a missile launcher. I believe that WoodsmanVol suggested Javelin. "Javelin Joe" certainly passes the alliteration test, and the Javelin was, indeed, a short-range, ground-to-air, anti-tank missile. So, there is that option.

I just once want to see us inside our own ten and we run the Hail Mary play like I do on Madden. I bet Joe gets it there!
