Joe Milton to Cowboys

Interesting considering all the NFL talking heads have been saying all offseason that Pats are set at QB with Maye as the starter and Milton as backup. I guess Vrabel didn't see it that way.

Also interesting considering he had Dobbs with the Titans and had no interest in retaining him.

Nope. They brought in Dobbs for that.

1st the Pats, now the Cowboys. Somebody is making it hard to root for the man. Hope he gets the chance to see the field because it looks like Hendon isn't ever going to see it.

Interesting tidbit, if true, that the Pats had a better offer for Milton but chose to send him where he wanted to go. In a hard, cutthroat business like the NFL, that's remarkable if true.

I don't believe a word of that. PR spin 101 when you dont get back the expected return...

And they gave a 5th round pick to get him. Doubt he sees the field unless injuries at the QB position happen. Notice I used the plural ‘injuries”.

Yeah, I'm skeptical too. I thought the Eagles would get him and I'm not a Cowboys fan. Jerry bet the house on Dak and can't easily move on after investing all that money for him even if Joe hits his stride in Dallas.

Cowboys got a steal here, and I also understand why nobody was offering something better (a 4th) based on just 1 start.

IDK anything about the Cowboys coach, but if he can unlock Milton, he's going to have a good run.

I loathe the Patriots, so glad JM3 is outta there but wait, Josh Dobbs is now the Pats backup?? Aye carrrrrramba. And how do we root for the Pats and Cowboys?? With Joe and Josh well and hope they lead their teams to the playoffs in their first year on their new teams.

I have been saying for a while Joe will be a better pro than college player for a few reasons. 1. If we being honest he was the scapegoat for our WRs being bad that year. 2. In the NFL they will stash a QB and rebuild him if they have the right guy. Look at GBs approach to QB play.
