well you did say that you hoped I died a slow and painful death simply because I want Paterno to face the repurcussions for his turning of a blind eye. I never said I was happy that he had cancer.

The absolutely overwhelming evidence shows that Paterno had knowledge that Sandusky was a molester. Everyone knows he ran that athletic department yet he allowed the molester free reign of the facilities. I just don't understand how anyone can give him the benefit of the doubt at this point unless they think it was ok for him to discuss the matter with "higher ups" and then, at the very least, turn a blind eye.

I honestly blame Paterno and everyone who knew or had significant reason to know of Sandusky's disease just as much as Sandusky himself for every instance of molestation that occurred after the repeated instances occurred in at least 1998 and 2002 as they directly facilitated Sandusky's actions. The failure to report the 2002 instance to outside authorities is inexcusable after the 1998 investigation.

If we go on how much the catholic church had to pay... we can assume most likely that Penn St will be raising tuition quite a bit.
