Joe's 10 day trip to yankee land/Tiffany's surgery thread

I don't recommend Applebee's for anything, but if you go I suggest the ribblets, if they still have those. They used to sear them on the grill then cook them in an alto shaam then heat them on the grill again. One of the two things they do/did halfway right.

Jmo.
BTW, since no one cared enough to ask, the other thing they did or still do right is quesadillas. But even those were just halfway right. They sauteed the onions and green peppers on the flat top with grill butter then portioned them in plastic bags. The cheese and tomatoes were mixed and portioned together and the chicken or steak were precooked, portioned and heated in the microwave. 3 different baggies for one item.

Grill butter? Do tell

You take a 10 inch flower tortilla and butter the hell out of it and place it on the flat grill. You dump preportioned cheeses and quesadillas mix on it with your choice of beef or chicken. When it’s melted fold it in half cut it and send it out.
It's like, you copied the recipe book. Lol.

It always amazes me how many people never picked up on the fact the the guacamole, Sour cream and Pico made the colors of the Mexican Flag on the plate.
You know, that's something else they did well imo. I still make pico de gallo the way they made it. When I make it. And I use it to put in my mashed avocado to make my guac.
