This isn’t supposed to be clickbait but I’m positive it will be attacked as such. Deion Sanders is currently making his biggest mistake in his coaching career by sidelining the best offensive coordinator in the country, Sean Lewis. He is a master of the veer and shoot, closer to Jeff Lebby than Alex Golesh. Anyways, what would you all think if Heup went and made Lewis the co-offensive coordinator?
I want us to run Heup’s offense and to do things Heup’s way.

You realize they legit do not have an offensive line, right? They’re playing FCS-level starters on the line or scrimmage. It’s all about scheme. Just like Heupel’s first year.
Since Deion has been proclaimed the second coming of Vince Lombardi he should be able to figure it out

Joey knowledge of football is what Heupel has taught him. He does what Heupel wants to be done. It would be a new learning curve for someone who has not been around him to become efficient in his system.
He’s eyes in the sky. Insight, recommendations…this is what we are seeing.

Blame line, blame portal, blame stolen property, blame OC…believe around the second loss is when the excuses started.

Deion is awful. The fact that a head coach left his job to reset the clock under Deion was idiotic.
Sean Lewis is making somewhere around five times more in salary over 3 years at CU.

That’s a valid point. Either way I think he leaves after this year. He runs the veer and shoot, and I think he’d help heup and Joey scheme the crap outta the pass game.

You don’t leave, you get fired so you collect the money.

I think we've seen a pretty good progression of the offense as the year has gone on. Joe finally looks comfortable back there as well. We've dealt with are fair share of injuries on the offensive line and at WR, which will certainly limit the offense's effectiveness.

I don't see the need to go with an outside hire when we are progressing with our current set up. Having a first year OC (regardless of who is truly calling the plays), meant that we were going to have at least some growing pains particularly given the talent we lost at wide out and at OT.

Golesh had Hooker.
Halzle has Milton.

Not a fair comparison.

Let’s see how Halzle does over the next couple of seasons with Nico at QB.
And I agree that Heupel is actually the OC regardless of titles
and....

Hooker had Hyatt, Tillman, McCoy, Fant
Milton has White, Keyton, Nimrod, 87/ 34

Not a fair comparison

Oh, and has Halzle while Hooker had Golesh

Add in the oline issues.....as well
