He doesn’t believe half of what he writes. Just to get clicks. What sells in the offseason? Hope always hope bc people have other stuff to do if you kill their hope. What sells during the season? Fluff and fear. We’ve had a steady diet of fluff lately so some will throw out a little fear to the fans. The same Adams that picked the Vols to make the playoffs early in the preseason —- before it was trendy?

Rupert Murdoch modelHe and Finebaum have used the same formula for a certain type of success. Instead of doing really good work that the consumer likes, they create "enragement" - which is getting people to engage by making them mad. It's a cheap way forward for those without actual character or talent, but it's proven to work, so soulless people will always be there to do it. Some people care that they are respected, others only care that they can make you do the thing that makes them money and gets them attention. Please don't link to it.
I kept reading responses, looking for anyone who understood and acknowledged the OP's blue font!Man, what would we do without our #1 Vols fan John Adams reminding us that Florida has won 17 or the last 19 matchups w our Vols? This guy is such a breath of fresh air. He's always looking on the bright side of life (begin whistling) and finding ways to make Vol fans feel good about themselves and the team they would die for. It's one thing to say we have sucked for 20 years however, to say that Florida sucked MORE with their also lack of finding excellent coaching talent (but still beat us is well) is like pouring jet fuel on the fire. Let's just say that John Adams is not on my Christmas card list. True though he may be, he might learn a thing or two from other writers and try to focus on our positives. As a boss of mine used to say, you can sugarcoat a turd but at the end of the day, it's still a turd. Yes, that is correct but, the sugar coating does help reduce the smell and make it look nice.

Florida has dominated Tennessee football despite hiring some of the worst coaches
Will Muschamp, Jim McElwain, Dan Mullen continued the Gators success against UT, even though they failed to keep their job.www.knoxnews.com
So here's the thing. You might be making fun of Adams in the title. You might have blue dripping off the OP. And here dude is hyperlinked right to his garbage.I mean, he keeps getting people to read his articles.
He’s obviously very good at his job. He writes stuff that people actually read.
I know a lot of folks that spill a lot of ink that will languish unread online and in libraries for decades to come.
