He doesn’t believe half of what he writes. Just to get clicks. What sells in the offseason? Hope always hope bc people have other stuff to do if you kill their hope. What sells during the season? Fluff and fear. We’ve had a steady diet of fluff lately so some will throw out a little fear to the fans.

The Florida fear is there every year, with or without Adams. He just beat us to the punch.

Also, I want to point out that the only years where Tennessee had (on the field) a clearly better team than Florida was

2000
2002
2014 - about even
2015 - about even
2023

The brutal truth is that Florida has literally had better talent on the field than Tennessee nearly every year this Century. John Adams leaves out that even when they had the bad coaches, Tennessee had worse (worse coaches, worse recruiting, etc.). I looked at the SEC Standings and outside the years posted, Florida had a better overall record. They even did in 2014 and 2015 but I felt like we were probably better with Dobbs and the talent around him.

Basically, it should be stated that Tennessee has failed to upset Florida or recruit and build a program at their level this Century.

Buncha thin skinned posters on this board. He just spoke the truth and a bunch of orange clad Karen's can't handle it. So he should manipulate and spin to avoid being "negative" so some can feel better about things and aren't offended? Maybe folks need a thicker skin and some toughness? It's just a game BTW. If you folks can't handle something like this without going off the deep end, heaven help you when the coming storm finally hits this country. The greatest generation would shake their collective heads at the current one. Weak as he!! country we live in.

I am only thinking about Arkansas right now...The best way to get beat at Arkansas is to look ahead to Florida..It might sound like coachspeak but it's true..ARKANSAS is the only team to worry about because they're the ONLY TEAM you can play this week..
