Rumor around the LSU boards is that John Chavis is going to Georgia to be their DC.

That would be interesting to say the least.

tough call for chavis
what HC does he go down with?
Richt or Miles. Both ships are taking on water.

Speculation that Chavis might be going to be the new d cord at GA. IF he left LSU do you guys think that LSU would in return come after Coach O to be their d cord. I have heard reports and ESPN saying GA might offer Chavis $650,000 for the job.

O turned them down last year to come to UT. Why would he go there now?

he would be crazy he is almost making that at lsu and he would owe lsu most of that if he left

unless he is unhappy at LSU then I see no reason to leave. He is a good coordinator, no matter what anybody says. We had the third best d last year in the country but we didnt have an offense. Plus why would you leave LSU for GA? LSU and Miles are doing things with that program whereas uga is going nowhere but to the dog house. Unless he wants a HC job and things Richt might leave a vacant space in another year. I guess only time will tell.

And dont take what I said as being a Chavis Homer because if anyone hated Third downs in the chavis era, it was my liver, I mean me.

I am not sure which ship is going down first. Talk about being between a rock and a hard place. Who would have thought that if you could have a choice between GA and LSU that option C might be the safe bet.

The natives are restless in Baton Rouge. He is on thin ice as much as Richt is.

Yeah, I'd say Richt will be gone after next season if they don't perform better, which is unfortunate because he seems like a real class act. Oh well.

If LSU came after O to make him a d cord and offered him more money than we are. Why wouldn't he leave to go back home to LSU. It would be a promotion for him possibily be the D cord and assistant head coach.
