And why would he risk getting fired at the end of next season or 2011 when he could have as much as 3+ years here and possibly get a better gig and have better coaching connections? If LSU came after O to make him a d cord and offered him more money than we are. Why wouldn't he leave to go back home to LSU. It would be a promotion for him possibily be the D cord and assistant head coach.
I thought we offered him more money to come here. Don't forget LSU isn't the only school that has a problem with the NCAA right now. I do believe LSU has better talent than we do and alot better recruiting base also.

It's Georgia. They will be competive and find ways to choke everytime. They always manage to take complete halves of games off or end up getting blown out in their big games, even with superior or equal talent. Tennessee has been bitten by this bug the past few years, but for Georgia, that is their 110+ year legacy. For those doubting GA and Richt, consider that they averaged 29 pts a game this year. The problem is they gave up nearly as many on defense. Bring in a good defensive coordinator and I think their program remains extremely competitive.
Chris Lowe just said he's staying.
Check Louisiana H.S. players going to Div. I vs. players from Tennnessee. Don't just pick a year...go over the past decade. You will be surprised.
