Republicans are getting confused.

The Tennessee Republican Delegation: "Tennessee casts 55 votes for George S. McCain"
Tennessee's convention votes cast for 'George S. McCain' : State and Regional News : Knoxville News Sentinel

Republican Gov. Tom Ridge: "John Bush, I mean, John McCain..."

B/c, it actually is the same.

John McCain's big acceptance speech (start watching around 4:40):

Pretty soon it will be much easier since they'll both be "Mr. President".

Good one. :lolabove:

Bush and McCain will have something even more in common soon, neither guy will be President come the end of January. :)

the opposite side of the same joke just loses something on the second go round.

Something is screwed up here, I didn't mean to post the same thing three times. How did that happen?

I wonder why we never hear Barack's middle name used?

Oh, you do.

Listen to Rush, Levin, Hannity, O'Reilly, etc., and you'll hear it plenty.

And I guess that matters b/c what - it doesn't sound like yours? Maybe you should make this point in the "fearing Obama" thread.

Maybe you should try making a point instead all these worthless threads.

see that doesn't work anymore because I'm voting for a woman as VP.

Tell me are you scared to put her in office because she doesn't look like you?

I think Sarah Palin is a good candidate. I didn't know much about her at first but she has carried herself well and her speech proved she can handle the spotlight. I just like what Obama and Biden stand for personally but I do respect Palin and McCain. I hear a lot of people say they don't like either choice but I think we are going to be better off with Obama or McCain. I just prefer Obama. I agree that her family needs to be off limits just as McCain, Obama and Biden should have the same respect with their family.

Thanks OE, I think sometimes I have said things I didn't really mean in the spirit of competition between the candidate I support vs. the other candidate. I'm trying to do a better job of being open to other views and fair about what I post. It's a constant struggle so forgive me if I write something stupid in the future. :)

It's great that either a woman or a black man will achieve something this election that they haven't previously.

To your point above, in terms of my life experience, I bet it's more similar to Sarah Palin's than Barack Obama's. I actually can relate to her better than I can to Barack. And I don't care about that one iota. I want the best people for the jobs, not the one who is similar to me.

In short, you would rather have Joe Biden for President?
