John Ward's call of yesterday's bama game

I was driving in Maryville at the end of the game. Had to pull over on some street as not to wreck. When we scored the winning field goal, I hope the law wasnt called on me for sitting outside somebody's house screaming. After calming down, I told my wife "If John Ward was still alive and calling that score, the hang time on the ball would have lasted at least 30 seconds." His description of a UT score was second to none. Was blessed to grow up listening to such a legend.

That was great. I miss his amazing voice. I remember listening to him and watching the game even when it was televised.

I will say a little disappointed it didn’t end with “and pandemonium reigns”

Very fun and great job with whoever put that together. My one small quibble would be with the game winning FG. I doubt John would have announced that one so calmly

Same here…. That’s what hit me so hard watching it. Me and my dad spent a lot of time listening to games when I was growing up…it’s funny how something so simple can bring back so many memories and emotions

Thank you to whoever made that. The only thing I thought would end it was John saying "Pandemonium rains".

This is about the coolest thing yet for this win. Someone edited highlights with John Ward calling the game. Brought back so many memories. Sheesh, everytime I stop tearing up watching a video, someone goes and makes one even better. Go Vols!!

I think I’m a bit late. But if it was posted 100 times, it’d be worth it. I miss that guy, no one could play by play a Tennessee game better.
