Whoever gets the LSU job will have some very fertile recruiting areas to work in Louisiana and Texas and Mississippi to work with.

I stand by my lol.

Ok. He has built Indiana back to a really good program. But Im pretty sure one of the other guys lol at my post had to be thinking I meant Johnny Jones. They mentioned Ben Simmons falling in his lap.

Gregg Marshall would be a good fit at LSU for the right price

I think he is making something like 3.3 million at Wichta St. It will take quite a bit to pull him from there I believe. Now I hate to say it but I do think Will Wade would work just as good there

As for someone who lives smack dab in the middle of B1G country and only 30 minutes from the IU campus I can tell you there are reasons why the IU fanbase wants to run him out of town for good. Yes the fan base is one of the most arrogant bases in college hoops but they are legit on this one. Has had some good recruits and yes he has struggled as of late in Indiana on recruiting to Purdue, Michigan State and others but dude is a awful situational coach.

Marshall would be a great fit for most schools! I know he LOVES Wichita and the MVC but I'm sure for the right job and pay check he could be moved....Kinda surprised he didn't leave after losing Van Fleet, Baker and company.

It was said he didn't want to move the kids until they were done with school there

Found this on an Illini board:

Also worth noting he turned down at least $4.2M from Alabama in 2015. Even if Whitman is willing to spend an insane amount he'd have to enter a bidding war with the Koch brothers. I don't see him winning that.
