Tebow 2.0 BUT, I think if he went to a team that has a free-wheeling offense philosophy, he just might be uncanny. Michael Vick was sort of like Johnny. Matter of fact, he might fit right into Chip Kelly's team approach. He's slippery, his mechanics are as bad as Tebow's but the son of a gun also seems to have a touch for getting the ball to his receivers.
I think his TAMU coach gives him a lot of leeway and Johnny has his WRs sort of scramble as well. I think he has a system worked out where when things break down, receivers are to scoot to specific areas on the field. No other way I can explain how he throws the ball at times with a Hail Mary pass and they come up with the ball after all that running around. I also think he has a guy on seeing him running around sort sneakily isolates himself and gets forgotten as secondary defenders move up to prevent the threat of John Boy gobbling up 15-20 yards with a run. That's why you see periodically a TD where a WR, TE, or RB is all alone in an area of the end zone.
NFL teams are much more structured and don't and won't play this way. But the Eagles might be the closest thing to doing so. Ok, maybe the Redskins too but less so than the birdmen of Philadelphia. Another possible team that would be a fit is Newton's Carolina cat men.
