Probably not thread worthy but there was a question, which schools have had 3 coaches for 15+ years. I think that was the question... Gruden guessed Tennessee. The answer was Iowa, Oklahoma and Tennessee. The other commentator said he's impressed Gruden knew that. Then the commentator says to Gruden, "Your wife was a cheerleader at Tennessee, right?". He said yeah and then proceeded to say Tennessee needs to get back the Outback Bowl.

Anyways... free publicity for the Vols in the LSU/Iowa game. I enjoyed it. :)

I was searching for a thread mentioning this. Good for Gruden. I find it funny that Gruden will probably be an NFL coach this year, but it will more likely be his brother Jay, who has done a great job as OC in Cincy.

Oh,good catch, some here have been waiting for this... "Outback" is Gruden code for his lawyers to contact the Grudenites and get the ball rolling. Start a low, slow drumbeat for his return.

Honestly, my post wasn't because Gruden said it. I only posted because I enjoyed hearing Tennessee talked about in a game that essentially has nothing to do with them. Being talked about for the sake of being talked about is added exposure that came out of nowhere. I know I wasn't expecting to hear anything about the Vols while watching this game. I'll take the free publicity :)

LSU's receiver just caught one of the better catches I've ever seen...

Pretty sure it was 2 coaches for 15+ years for each coach since 1970 something for 3 schools, not 3 coaches. Valid point though, just another thing to be sad about not being good enough for a coach to stay a while during another depressing bowl season (3 straight and 4 out of last 6 years, right?)

I was thinking the same thing. "Someone mentioned us on New Years Day!" Wow, we've come a long way in the past few years. How much lower do you think standards, expectations, the bare minimum required to excite vol fans will sink in a couple more years? It's scary to even think about.

Why do I get the feeling that Chief Chavis is going to cost LSU this game?
