Yeah YorkVol, it is hard if you don't get on often. But so far, it's been mostly debate on who's right Vs, who's wong. Or better put, who has the better point of view. If anything happens of significance, then the post count would sky rocket, and VN would crash for a while. I'll be outta the loop tomorrow, so I'll have to do a lot of reading myself 2morrow afternoon.

Save yourself the time, nothing is going to happen this week or the next week or the week after that. A whole lot of wishful thinkers in here if they think anything is going down anytime soon.

I speculate that this thread works its way off the front page after we win against M State, lose to Bama after playing close enough that an oust Saban campaign starts in Tuscaloosa, beat the Chickens in a very close one then win out the rest of the year. Pardon me this a.m, I am working on my Christmas list.:)

Too many well wishers in this thread to let it die MedicT, they have the inside scoop but continue to discuss other coaches to throw the masses off of what is really taking place behind the scenes. You also have to have a secret decoder ring to be privvy to the information from their top secret source.

Decoder rings went out a long time ago Gman. We use Taro(sp?) cards now.

To be fair, yesterdays speculation was just that. Somebody asked the question who would be on our individual top 5 wish lists.

The real information we have shared and repeated in the thread has mainly been about Gruden. Discussions by intermediaries aside, Hart would be foolish not to have his own top 5 list.

Every AD worth his salt has a running list of coaches for every sport. Some folks just don't get that.

I'll be honest, outside of Gruden and 1 or 2 other splash hires, I think we stick with Dooley.....unless things get completely out of hand.

There are only a couple names that I think would outweigh the destabilizing effect of a coaching change right now. If you can get them you pounce. If not, you might as well go into year 4 with Dooley.

None of you all know who is on that list, this thread is nothing more than speculation and wishful thinking. I have seen way to many people claim to have sources and nothing ever came from it.

LWS is the best source for info
Skeeter is the best source on players and recruits

Hart is smart enough to not let his potential coaching list to be seen by anyone.

We WILL beat Miss State, Idc that they are ranked and at home...Mississippi State has played absolutely NO ONE. The five teams they beat have offenses that on their good day are half of Tennessee explosive potential. We will beat Mississippi State 35-17 or 38-17 (throwing the 38 in because if we hit a field goal my points total will be wrong lol.) Sure Mississippi State doesn't seem to turn the ball over and they run well...but look at their schedule...they will end up 9-3 or 8-4 possibly 7-5. They have played Auburn (28-10 not impressive at home), @Troy (30-24), Jackson State, South Alabama, and @Kentucky (27-14). I can honestly say that if we can put 44 points on UGA AT UGA we can beat down Mississippi State. These guys arent that good. They still have to play @Alabama(rape), home against Texas A&M (I say thats a 10-15 point loss), @LSU (though LSU seems flat, they still have more talent and they are at home), Arkansas @ Home (should be a win), and @Ole Miss (who lost to Texas A&M at home 30-27 so it could be a good game).
Mississippi State has just had easy opponents. We'd be 5-0 averaging 45 points a game if we had their schedule. I saw big blowout Wednesday.

As for Bama and SC, I think we play hard vs Bama at home but lose by 10 or 13 (possibly blown out if we don't come to play), and SC...WE CAN Beat them but will we is the question. I think we can beat them, but we will have to be on our A-game.
