So we're saying that Bill sounded drunk? Hmmm, I never thought about it. John sounded drunk a few times. Some of those teams...I would have been drunk.

Did they retire at the same time? Was that immediately after the National Championship year?

John was a lawyer...what did Bill do...(besides drink)?

Spoke to a true VFL who worked beside the great John Ward for years, Bill Anderson and it wasn't hard to get him to talk about the Big Orange.

Hey Gman, I'm glad to hear Bill is still getting out. Those two were a combination that couldn't be beat. Man, I really miss them.

Hmmm, good work if you can get it.

In the early '90s, thet would put John and Bill out in front of the stadium on a little stage. They would answer a few questions from the crowd as part of the pre-game show. This guy in the crowd asked Bill, "what is the meaning of life?" Bill responded, "Beating Alabama!" The crowd cheered!

Then we lost 9-6 to Alabama.....harsh ending to the story!

Life has no meaning then, or as of late.

Scents, ya'll forgot one!

And my favorite two favorite scents are the smell of victory when Jon leads us to and SEC Championship and then the smell of victory when he leads the Vols to the BCS title game.:)

Oh and Jon's favorite one will be the scent of all that $$$ we are gonna pay him to get him here.
