Looks like Mr. Travis has been looking around. Check out his # 2 on list of top 16 coaches today.

2. Jon Gruden

Trust me, he's going to be interested in Tennessee.

He's not going to pull a John Madden and become a television commentator for the rest of his professional career. I've been told that the grind of being a coach in the NFL isn't as appealing to him as being able to go out and recruit the top players in the country and develop them.

The Vols would have to pull out the checkbook and pay him $5 million a year.

But if they're willing to do this, Gruden, a former Vol graduate assistant who married a Tennessee cheerleader, is going to listen.

In fact, I think there's a good chance that if Tennessee will show him the money that Jon Gruden is your next Volunteer coach.

That's my welcome greeting to you,Jay.

We have done our best to hold the fort down.

Oh yeah, check out the addition to my title and new avi.

Nice. You all have been great. I might go into semi-retirement because you guys have flourished.

I rolled that guy back into the ocean. Was a tense deal for a bit but he finally swam away.

Dooley had his hip replaced and lost to MSU, pretty much sums up the week.

Welcome back, the ranks have grown.

Thanks for the welcome. Good to be back in the US, but I have laid eyeson some of the most beautiful sights I have seen....land, water, and uh....female. I love Brazilian women and their affinity for thong bikinis.
Hate to hear the health deal, but growth was inevitable. I did see the score on ESPN Caribbean. They didn't broadcast the game. ESPN hates us but ESPN Caribbean is bent on our destruction.
