Posted this in the Butch Jones analysis thread, but here's every Cincinnati class' star rating average since Rivals started keeping track of ratings in 2002.

I think Jones was a Low-key Homerun hire! I hope he proves me right! I think he will hit the ground running to get good recruits for his style of off/def. Only time will tell, but I think we made a good hire! Look at all the teams he turned down waiting on an offer from UT! That should tell the VN something! I think we are in good hands now and he is just estatic to prove himself! Wait and see!

He has 10 times better resources at UT than he had in Cincy when it comes to recruiting. Where Florida, Bama, LSU & Georgia go his staff will be there also. As CBJ said in his presser it's about relationships. Kids come to play for the Coach first. Let's sit back and see how he does.

He should continue to recruit Corn Elder from Ensworth. Dooley didn't. Elder and Tiny were teammates. DO NOT LET THIS KID GET AWAY.

I really dont see how this could POSSIBLY be an indicator of his ability to recruit....Cincy football verses Tennesee football....mystery solved!!!!

He also put 4 of those 2s and 3s in the 1rst 4 rounds of the draft this season.
He'll recruit well here and triple the number of pro players.

I know he was the Cincy coach and a lot of people are pissed off about us hiring him, but if I was a 4 star/5 star recruit and I was interested in Tennessee and wanted to make a change and make a name for myself, and Coach Jones came to my house and sit down with me I think he would win me over and I would be ready to go. Just like he won over a lot of us who vowed to hate him for eternity before we even gave him a chance. The man is passionate and he really seemed like he was excited and happy to be here. Hopefully they will google him and see his record and see how he has won every where he has been and see his reputation has a players coach, if my coach would play rap music and dance with me in the locker room that would be a promising relationship.

He wants to be here and is excited is why he will do well...If I got paid $18 million, I would like to be at and be excited for being at a place where I got kicked in the balls every day.

We will have to wait and see on the recruiting, but i hope that many of you will start being realistic about this hire when Jones get annihilated in recruiting by Saban, Miles, Franklin, Stoops, Spurrier, Richt, Muschamp, Malzohn, Sumlin, etc

08- rank 51st 6th in con
09- rank 53rd 5th in con

Coach Jones at Cin. from 10-12

10- rank 61st 2nd to last in con
11- rank 42nd 3rd in con
12- rank 34th 2nd in con this also was the best recruiting class EVER AT CINCINNATI! SO PLEASE STOP WITH THE RECRUITING BS!! THESE ARE FACTS!!

Why the heck did you throw Stoops in that list? He hasn't accomplished anything as a head coach.

I am only talking about recruiting. I have no hope for next year's product on the field. 4-8 is VERY likely.
