10 years from now, Jordan McRae will be seen as the best Vol basketball player since Bernard King. That first dunk in the second half last night was sick. And what a stat line, 29 points, 10 rebounds, 4 assists. This guy is a real talent waiting to explode in the NBA.

case dismissed for lack of credibility!

mcCrae is the best of a very weak bunch but he is not even close to being NBA worthy.

I think he's nba worthy but not the best vol since King. Tobias Harris was more polished and an all around player.

Grunfeld was a hellava player. This could go on all day, fact is Jordy is a nice player, but he is non clutch and really doesn't belong in a conversation about greats. Those that think he does are just kids who never saw some of the greats play.

How old are you...Boy Crush or what? Nah? He does not even make the Top 10 - 20 Since King.

Supporting Cast has a lot to do with it, but there are at least 10 players since King that have put the entire team on their backs and carried the team to victory.

Last night McRae did some of it and played a great game but that was against Miss State.

Smoke some more weed and think about it.

Now or 10 years from Now he will not be.

The good players that carry teams are the silent ones and you don't know the stats at the end of the game until you read the box scores the next morning.

Stokes has carried this team more than McRae this season.

I like jordy and think he is one of the better offensive players we have had over the years.

Dale Ellis was a clear level above him though.

Why do people have to go to extremes and show ignorance just to argue the other side of an issue. Is the OP too extreme, IMO yes. But for people to say McRae is no good and as one said nowhere near and NBA player? That ignorant. Players with his size, length, and ability to put the ball in the basket (extended to the 3pt line) have a place in the NBA. His strength and lack of focus and determination on defense right now looks like it will keep him from being any kind of superstar in the league. But he is definitely and NBA player. And to give some small ounce of credence to the OP (nowhere near to the extreme that he went) McRae's deficiencies are things he could improve on.
