Jordy Mac Prediction

1st of all you can't compare them, two completely different players/positions. Second of all when did chism ever average 19 a game?

Orangeallday, i most certainly can, go read the first post. the OP said the greatest all time since Bernard king, no mention of position. It helps when you follow the thread.

To add further to this nonsense. Chism had scorers around him, maybe that's why McRae scores so much.

No.

Dorrell Wright type spot up shooter at best. He can't create his own bucket in the league like JR can

Agree. Jeremy Lamb is a decent comparison too. Although I think J Mac is a better slasher and a slightly better defender.

Grunfeld was a hellava player. This could go on all day, fact is Jordy is a nice player, but he is non clutch and really doesn't belong in a conversation about greats. Those that think he does are just kids who never saw some of the greats play.

There's been games Jordy didn't exactly show up to. 5-6 points in some games? If that happens in college, it'll happen even more in the pro ranks. Jus sayin. Our record could look a lot better right now had some of our top guys showed up every game all season. UTEP is a win, A&M is two wins, NCST, etc. We've been the victim's of off and on play all year. From top to bottom of the roster. But I'm still trying to recuperate from the sudden kink I got in my side when somebody compared him to Bernard, lol!! Never heard of such! Some folks on here should never talk about basketball.

Chris Lofton will always be my favorite. He was really fun to watch and definitely one of the best players we've had

10 years from now, Jordan McRae will be seen as the best Vol basketball player since Bernard King. That first dunk in the second half last night was sick. And what a stat line, 29 points, 10 rebounds, 4 assists. This guy is a real talent waiting to explode in the NBA.

No offense but I strongly disagree. Dale Ellis, Allan Houston and Chris Lofton were much better Vols. Although I'll be pulling for Jordy Mac to stay stateside as a pro, I just don't see him playing in the NBA. He'll have to head to Europe or somewhere else abroad to play professionally IMHO.

That's what I'm predicting. Yes.

There's a huge question as to whether Jordy even makes an NBA roster. Dale Ellis scored nearly 20,000 pts, was an All star, once averaged 27 ppg in a season, one of the all time great 3 pt shooters in league history. Houston scored nearly 15,000 pts, was an outstanding sharp shooter and played a key role on some outstanding Knicks playoff teams. Tobias is off to a very solid NBA start to his career since being traded to Orlando.

I love Jordy, but I'll be surprised if he ever sees an nba roster.

McRae is not better than Ellis, Loftin, Houston, Grunfield, even Widby.......all All Americans .many higher average per game without 3 point shot!!

McRae very inconsistent.. Would not want to play horse with any of the listed shooters all great outside shooters..

Nope but the same can be said about Stokes.

It could be said more about Stokes. Had he not developed the way he has, UT wouldn't even make it to the NIT. They wouldn't make it to the CIT. That's why I hope there's a Stokes or a collective combination that can resemble a Stokes next year.
