Best thing was 4.1 seeing Dobbs look off the Safety then throwing the bomb. Those little things make the difference!

Malone is a beast! Could be the best we've had in a long time!

It's still almost surreal that Malone is a Vol to me. His recruitment was so tenuous. I still remember where I was when he announced last December that he was committing to us. Almost can't believe it's really him running around out there. What a great job by Butch and company to get this kid. The next 3 years with him are gonna be awfully fun.

I would be more excited about a 4-set with the seemingly new and improved Croom. There wouldn't be a group of DB's on any team in the country who could match the sheer size/strength of that WR lineup.

The D sounded bad on the radio and looked even worse on these gifs. We are going to need the offense to step up to win some games this year.

Sonething to remember, as all the Dobbs haters point out, most of those big plays were against 2nd team.

I see some shades of a Carl Pickens from Malone out there catching passes. I hope our D really improves after watching these.

All of the plays in those gifs were against second team D.

Also consider AJ Johnson didn't play or Randolph. Jones wanted to get other players reps to see what they can do. Stage was to big for them Saturday.

And... Freshman crop coming in I believe 15-16 are on the defensive side of the ball. Speed with the Berry Twins and some hitting ability from Bryant / Kelly. So help is on the way.

Defense will be a work in progress, but I have faith that some of these incoming Freshman gonna plug in nicely.

That play was one of the single worst displays of tackling I've ever seen. That was like the Arkansas punt return a couple of years ago bad. Just, wow.
