Josh Richardson Appreciation Thread

Martin said Richardson was always joking with the team, having fun keeping them loose etc. He told Josh when they made the NCAA he wanted to see a more serious side of him, less joking around more seriousness.

Gotcha, thanks. Well boy has it worked, if you didn't know Tennessee and were watching them for the first time you'd think Richardson was our best guard.

And, here is where I give Coach Martin perhaps the most credit.

The first half of the year (approx) the offense was set up for Barton to be the second option in the back court. When he could not get it done Zo switched it slowly to Josh having the freedom to create offense with Stokes and Maymon providing the picks and screens to help him do his thing. As he has gained confidence and the team has gained confidence in him they are looking to him more and he is flat azz delivering! It has helped that Barton returned to being the PG we all hoped he would because he is getting the ball to Josh in space. As stated by many his mid-range J is deadly.

Have at it! Show your love for the best defender possibly in the SEC. Without Josh we would've been dead in the water against Iowa. His game has reached new heights offensively and defensively. This was definitely a diamond in the rough that has been polished and put on for display.
