Josh Richardson starting?

we dont know how good they will penetrate a defense, we havent even seen Moore, Q, and Edwards play. Richardson may have improved but he still has to prove it against good competition.
We don't know anything for sure yet. That's a given.
But if you've been following the reports from practice and exhibitions, we'll be much better at attacking the rim this season.

Yes I read about the team all I can but I do know at this time of the year everything is all butterflies and rainbows. If we go off everything we have heard.... Trae golden will be one of the top PGs in the league and possibly the nation, Mcbee is draining all threes and has learned to get open to hit the mid range jump shot, Kenny hall is practically automatic from fifteen feet, stokes is dominant and we have to take him out to even run our offense, Richardson is consistent from three and can drive to the hole with abandon....Moore...Q...and Edwards can get to the hole when they want too....I'm sure I have left some out but if all this is true we are going to be one h@ll of a team.

Won't take long to find out.
Beat the #6 team in the country without Maymon in our 4th game and all the hype will become very believable.
Isn't that how the season's supposed to work?
End up with a result like Maui last year and there will be a lot of back lash. Book it.

Twitter / JonRothstein: Look for Tennessee's Josh ...

@JohnRothstein "Look for Tennessee's Josh Richardson to emerge as one of the nation's top lock down perimeter defenders. Will start for Vols at SF."

John has really been talking up the vols and their potential this year. Also nothing but high praise for CCM.

I don't think Vol fans realize how good Josh is defensively at such a young age. He SHUT DOWN Brad Beal and Jeremy Lamb when we played them.

This is no shot at McBee, but if McRae and Richardson are starting and he's coming off the bench, that's a great sign for this season.

I absolutely agree. I think Mcbee can get his deserved minutes coming off the bench. McRae needs to prove that he deserves that starting spot.

And for Richardson he reminds me of Olidipo from IU when it comes to defense and what he's put out there to do. Olidipo was first put in games just to lock down defenders and cause problems. He's now developing his offensive game. Not as athletic as Olidipo but I can see Richardson scoring off of his defense and putting players in tough spots.

I'm ready to see these guys play, if McRae is bringing it on D, and playing smart it'll e hard to keep him from starting.

Same can be said about if mcbee is shooting lights out like its sounding, or if Richardson has found his offensive game.

I'm very excited for these early games to see who really has improved in what areas, and to see the rotation shake itself out.

I've seen different pieces call for mcbee, McRae, Edwards and Richardson all as starters...excited to see who steps up to the plate.

I like McRae as the sixth man. His energy is energetic, and it leaves some available talent coming off the bench.

Dudes a baller. I'm certain there will be a great sense of sanctification throughout the season for making this decision.
