JT Shrout playing for Buffs

I have no clue what is happening with shrout, or why he is in the position he is in, but MY GOT that kid could sling a ball, and I mean a rifle BULLET. seems like more a case of dumb coaches not recognizing the arm. He should have been taught plays by now. Not hard to coach a kid with talent. Seems like he was wasted.

The body motion, that twist. The power that comes off the arm. The mobility. Nobody could take advantage of that? ! Give me a break. What do you get paid for?

I think Worley could have been a pretty good QB in the right system
I thought he looked like a West Coast Offense QB. That is not a knock against him. He had potential.
He ran for his life for two solid seasons. Butch's first season, 2013, we had a tremendous offensive line, and Butch laid out his system of blocking, and those men refused to execute it. Worley's plays were blown as soon as the ball was snapped.

It was backyard football. If Raijon Neal and Marlin Lane hadn't been so reliable, Butch's "system" would have killed Worley.

2014, we had a ragtag line and Worley was just hurting. He was a statue.

Butch's offensive line philosophy got Worley injured and Dobbs never had the opportunity to use a redshirt either season. 2015, 2016, and 17 would have been very different if Worley had any protection in 2013-4.

look at those pretty passes. You must be blind and stupid to not take advantage of that.

On a side note, that diving catch by Tillman was the first glimpse of his potential and big things to come from him. I remember being shocked he made that catch since he’d only caught 2 or 3 passes total in his career here to that point.
