they all fall for the same pitch and don’t realize what they got into until the get to campus then like OH yeah I didn’t think about this being too many folks. They all say don’t be scared of competition but there is also something to say about increasing your odds and being smart while also being competitive.

The best process for choosing who starts and plays is coaching evaluations of practice performance.... and that is still an imperfect system.

A guy with a room that full could be the best player in the room and for various reasons still get buried.

But... this is where the portal comes into play. Some of those guys will not be on their roster after next fall.
