McKenzie won't be a 5*. Jeremy Crabtree said he will move up but they don't consider him as one of the top 5 JUCOs in the nation. He is one of the top 2 JUCO safeties, I know that.

Nevin McKenzie..... 6'2 210 4.3 speed...Sounds great. I don't get rivals or scout rankings. How is Nevin McKenzie a 3* AND YOU have Cidel Corley a 4*.. Corley is 6'5 250lbs and his bench max is 240, that is PATHETIC. Nevin McKenzie a 3* CB benches 50lbs more than this 4* DE. I mean come on the kid can't even bench his body weight and he gets a 4* ranking ( WEIRD ). Im a SR in highschool 5'10 155 i bench 230 ... that means he has 100lbs on me and benches only 10 more pounds that me == WEAK.

That is the reason why alot of teams are backing off of Corley while alot of big teams were offering McKenzie.

If Corley is weak, that makes him an even better prospect, IMO. After one or two years on campus to get his strength where it should be, he'd be sick. I mean, he's already a Top 100 recruit, and he's not even beastly strong yet.

Yeah but he's a top 100 recruit to them for whatever reason, he reportedly didn't pass the "look" test here and only benched 245. We backed off on him and he was feeling more love from other schools, we tried to get back in with him and it may be too late.

Also, Carlos Dunlap reportedly benches 240 and is the #1 DE from Rivals fwiw

BP is overrated imo, squat, deads, and power clean are more important, but the bench is used as well to get seperation
