It blows me away that people go to virtually every thread just to post that “he isn’t coming here” in spite of having no one knowing

With no respect shut up. Bass pours his heart and soul into TN getting good recruits to come. If he wants to be excited about recruits being excited, he can. If you don't like it then scroll by or ignore! It will work out with the numbers, and then we will be excited about who we got and not worry about the rest.

Yeah. Some big swings. But seeems as tho they've been worth it given the impression that was made this weekend.

Won't get them all but you can tell from these interviews
.. It's not tht standard "yeah it was good blah, blah, blah..." Type comments.

There were obviously some very specific things talked about, and some very specific impressions made.

See if it pays off. I won't be surprised if we get a surprise, or two, now.

To that same point, what about someone who says “he’s coming here” in spite of having no one knowing? One is acceptable and one is not, it seems.

People I do believe are coming here: Wright, Gray, Russell, and I feel pretty good on Crouch, also one of Ellis or Payton.
People I don't believe are coming here: Cain, Figueroa, Marshall

Can't tell if it's a joke or not, but I'll bite. Bass posts a lot, that's for sure. I'm glad he's excited about recruiting, who isn't though? Literally all I said was Seems like a good kid, but I think he will go to USC. Then Bass attacks me (and others I presume) saying I'm blown away that people don't believe every recruit we try to get is coming here.

Yes, this is a big board, people are going to have differing opinions. You don't know he's coming here, I don't know that he's not coming here. We are both guessing. I don't think he will come because of distance, you dissect every word just dying to find some hint that he will. I think the staff did a great job this weekend, and I hope that it turns out well for us. But, we only have 5 spots right now (without someone decommiting, like Clemons).

That is the very question I was about to ask. I went back and replayed the video and that's the way I understood it both times. Of course, I could be mistaken.

It was the telling him to shut up that got me, and I think he meant that in every thread there is always someone that has to say he's not coming here to be sure no one gets excited about the possibility. There were even some saying Crouch would not visit this weekend. When confirmed he was here they had to say he was going to Clemson don't get excited. It wasn't so much you in particular. It was just there it is again.
