Pretty sure he’s a 3 to play 3 guy, so it would give some class separation. However, since you might lose him to the Vols, he’s probably not a take or already been recruited over.I don't have any insider information about staff priorities, but I believe Georgia needs high school defensive tackles in the 2019 class.. Right now we have one FR and one SO (new JUCO Wyatt) on roster. Our other high school DT recruit for 2018 didn't qualify. The rest on roster are five JR's and two SR's. Smart really needs to build more class separation, IMO. Otherwise, taking JUCO's this year could put us on a course of needing more JUCO's in the upcoming classes.
Like I said, I have no idea what Kirby thinks, but I hope he's focused on getting 2019 HS kids with potential at this position, even if they're lower rated.

“Recruited over” isn’t a DEBATE. It’s what your captain utters every time we land a recruit you guys offered.I wasn't aware SW had three to play. Not going to get into the "recruited over" debate. But based on public commits to date, UGA does need more defensive tackles in this class. There aren't a lot of top uncommitted guys left on the radar, so I guess no acceptable prospects have been "recruited over" yet.
DT is a priority for UGA, so if he picks UT its not from lack of interest from UGA.
