As a senior at Bartlett HS two years ago, Jefferson was named 1st-Team All-State after collecting 116 tackles, 3 sacks, two INTs, and a forced fumble in 10 games. Last season in 9 games, he tallied 53 tackles, 3 sacks, 13 TFL, 1 INT, 2 fumble recoveries, and a blocked kick. Had his biggest game of the year against No. 1 Jones with 15 tackles, 2 sacks, and 3.5 TFL + the 2 fumble recoveries.

I looked at this like, great a linebacker that weighs 210... Then I saw him decleat a center, guard, and 2 running backs in the first minute of his highlight tape.

Kind of strange we waited until after all of these other big schools to offer him considering the relatively light LB board and the fact that he's originally from Memphis, but will be eager to see how receptive he is. Would likely, given his experience and what we've (not) got coming back at LB next season, step into a very attractive spot viz. starting/playing time.
