OV to UT this weekend...

THE SKINNY: Bell is another Arizona Western C.C. product who will be in town this weekend. The 6-foot, 200-pound tailback quickly picked up a Tennessee offer after Pruitt took the job. Bell, who rushed for 1,200 yards and 11 touchdowns in 2017, has already taken OVs to Nebraska, Utah, Louisville and Boise State, with many believing he’s a lean to the Cornhuskers.

ASUs AD is a joke. He should keep his house in order before he talks bad about Phil. Herm Edwards will cost him his job in 2 years.

RB is an intriguing spot in this class. The fact that the coaches are pursuing Banks and Bell tells me that at least one of the following things is true:

1. JK is going pro.
2. Grant isn't very solid in his commitment.
3. The coaches don't like Grant as a RB in our scheme that much.
4. The coaches are expecting a transfer from CFA, Chandler, or Jordan.
5. The coaches think Banks and/or Bell are special enough to want both despite us JK staying, nobody transfering, and Grant being a solid commitment and a fit.

If I had to guess, I'd say it was one or more of those first 3 things.

No chance JK is going pro, Chandler isnt leaving either. CFA may have some issues playing but with his best friend Bryd still here, don't see him leaving. Jordan is actually close to what they want.

Maybe Coleman or Jordan transfer, but I doubt Jordan would. Chandler certainly isn’t and I don’t think CFA would. I thought CFA was stronger, quicker and ran with more toughness last season than I thought he was capable of. If Kelly hangs around this year, which I think he would and should, we’re gonna have a nice little stable of running backs imo. Add 1-2 bigger backs this year and that’s a nice group for 2018.
