Let the process play out guys. CCM doesn't want a big man just to have a body. Many teams have been successful running 4 guard offenses, look at Ohio State for example and Michigan this year.

i actually like the idea that he isn't just signing a big to have a big. Something tells me he is looking hard for an unsigned big that can contribute.

I like Coach Martin and think he'll do great here. But I don't care if John Wooden in his prime is coaching this team. The thought of having Jeronne Maymon, Kenny Hall, and Renaldo Woolridge as your only big man scares the hell out of me.

Coach Zo said in an interview on govols.com a few weeks ago that a good big man might be hard to find this late. He said they may sign a 6'5" or 6'6" athletic player would could give them minutes at the 4. That sounds like Guy to me we shall see. I too hope they find a 6'8"+ post that could help next year but that might not be possible. Guy looks much stronger than richardson. Guy may be able to bang some with the big guys under the basket.

Signing Landry would be a bigger waste of a scholarship than Pearl giving one to McBee.

I have to agree. JC stats are not impressive.

Point 9.5 FT% 45 3pt% 40- not bad
Rbs 6 Asst 1.6 Steals 1.1

none of those say superstar!!!!


Has any major school offered?

Pass. I say we make a move on Uchebo, which would be a solid big for us, and get Bishop Daniels along with him. They even played on the same team together I believe

I don't see him mentioning UT in anything I've read. Maybe it's because we haven't offered. He is looking at UK now.
