Lauderdale decommited and it's thought that Jackson doesn't sign. Need more talent and depth in this WR class. Now that Pearson's aboard, if we pull Malone we should be done there

Sure seems like somebody would leave here is the list:

Blanc, Bowles, Croom, Carter, Harris, Howard, J Johnson, North, J. Smith, D. Young all coming back.

Commits: Pearson, Booth, Jackson, Creamer, and Wharton. We still may add Malone. That is 16 WR's if no one leaves.

Jackson won't make it I don't believe.

Don't forget Ryan Jenkins though.

I have a feeling Blanc leaves...not as much as before Dallas quit the team, but he would excel/star at a lower level program IMO :question:

They need 9 or 10 to effectively run the offense the way that they want to. 14 WR is a good number to have on the roster for depth and development purposes.

He could still be very good here. He was getting some snaps yesterday. Give him a year or two and he'll be a 2-3 catch a game guy.

Tennessee will have a great bunch of receivers! It hurt that Dallas left. What was the reason He left,was it ever mentioned by anyone?

It's quite simple, in fact. We need less Jacob Carters and Cody Blancs, and more Lavon Pearsons and Josh Malones. You don't compete for SEC/National Championships without elite playmakers.

This will allow us to possibly redshirt some of our talented receivers coming in and give them some time to develop in the weight room. We will have to start redshirting some of our guys to build future depth.

I would say he is loaded on WR, LB, OL and Safeties. One more RB and 1 more DL and the berry brothers and this is the best class I can edger remember for UT.

No QBs, but we potentially have two redshirt freshmen for next year.
