I don’t think a staff with their track record offensively feels stupid ab potentially not getting a receiver. Esp after what they did with no names like Tillman, Jones and Payton. He made ppl know their names. That’s what they do.

It’s not necessarily about getting a WR or not as much as it is about creating buzz around the program. I have no doubt they’ll develop what they get, but our momentum in recruiting doesn’t look anywhere near as good as it did in the spring

Lol. We are likely gonna get Mauigoa and Bradley. Tate is small potatoes compared to those 2 for our buzz and perception. Also why have you just conceded Tate to OSU?

Because literally every recruiting insider in the country is saying that’s where he’s going. It’s not just a smokescreen. I do agree though that Mauigoa and Bradley are more important, but it’s not a given that we land them either

Yeah I guess it’s just a coincidence that Simmons dropped his confidence level from 50 (which was basically saying there’s a 50/50 chance he goes there) to 10 the same day an OSU insider put out a prediction of 70. No one knows anything. It’s all just speculation I guess

Hey wait a min .. noone on my level .. lol .. honestly I'm a huge Vol fan who tends to be very conservative when expecting players to commit ...I don't ever count on it till that signature gets in our hands .. am I wrong some yes .. and because of NIL I been wrong .. but I admit it .. but I've been a huge Vol fan for 50 yrs .. was a walkon at UT in early 70's .. most of yall take me way too serious.. lol

That's not all you do. That's actually closer to what I do. You don't remain neutral. The reason your post are disliked and suspected as trollish... is that you assume AND SAY the worst. You don't just say "I don't know"... you predict the negative.

If you want to preserve your "stats" then just say UT won't land any of them. Scores of players will be discussed every recruiting cycle. Only 20-25 will sign. So if you say "he gone" about practically every player... you'll be right around 90% of the time.

I'm not sure how serious anyone takes you since they consider you a troll with good reason.... but you are so kneejerk negative that it annoys a lot of people. When you say "we got him" at the same % of accuracy as "he gone"... you'll be taken more "serious".

Like I said .. im taken way too serious or I wouldn't get responses...not looking for responses .. if I think a guy is not coming for whatever reason in my mind .. I say he gone .. but I will start saying the exact same thing " I don't think he is coming here "

No not wrong .. you just haven't seen all of them .. I was wrong on the the QB from Cali just because we made a NIL offer he couldn't refuse but ok ill take that one .. all being equal I don't think he would have committed here. ..
