I like Mason but I don't think he gets an offer until we get another QB first. IMO

I think recruiting methods this year will be very different compared to last few years. It seems the last three or four years we have had to practically beg recruits to visit and commit. This year will be quite different. I think we will actually have to be selective an unfortunately turn some players away. While this is certainly a good situation for the university it is also a situation that will need to be handled with a certain degree of sensitively to prevent negative press. Again it is a great position for the Vols to be in and a tremendous change from previous years. Good coaching = Good Players.

I don't get why everyone says this. Why wouldn't we offer him? Obviously we need a QB, and with Simms and Heaps (as of right now) committing to other schools, we need to lock up someone in case we don't have a Nuke or Janzen type surprise on signing day...

What I should have said was that he is probably a third or forth choice for the #1 QB spot and will probably be a #2 QB if taken (if that makes any sense). That's just my opinion though which doesn't mean anything. I like the kid and think he would make a great QB for UT or anyone else.

Does anone know if Scroggins will attend camp in June???

Yes. He said in a Scout article that he definitely plans on attending a june camp in Knoxville.

Somebody should start keeping a list of all the people who are gonna be attending the camps in June. So far, I've got Scroggins, Mosely, Dyer. There's a couple more. I just can't remember who...

hopefully Dyer has an itchy trigger finger when he camps with us.

I would be shocked if we got a commitment this year from a 5-star running back unless Oku doesn't make it in as the top three spots on the depth chart look locked down at least on paper the next two years.
