If Heaps hasn't committed by then, I feel pretty good about the chances Scroggins either commiting during or shortly thereafter camp. They will likely roll the red carpet out for him, figuratively speaking.

Think it was just a coincidence that Mike Tomlin came to speak (and the 100 million dollar man, Albert Haynesworth appearance) during one of the scrimmages in Spring Training? I expect Kiffin and staff to pull some more cards from their sleeves, like this, during those camps. Remember what BJ Coleman said after he quit, about the atmosphere being too "Hollywood." Hey...I say "Cameras, roll on three."

Scroggins just said in the VQ article he is gonna commit in July or August. But the Heaps commitment may make things alot easier for him...

Uh, could it possibly be he just isn't good enough??? The homestate school hasn't offered him either and they've had a longer time to evaluate him. If he explodes and gets an offer from UGA it won't matter what we do. Either way, Mason will never be playing football in Knoxville. (unless it's in a dawg uni)

I don't know if its been posted, but are there dates set up? Also do they have a only QB camp and a only OL camp or is it one big camp where they pull names out of a hat and play teams?

bwilli...as far as i have read i assume camps are june 5th and 12th weekends..not sure on their setup

The camps I have been around are the Adidas 7 on 7 camps. This is basically for QB, WR, and DBs. You will also see LBs, but they are not hitting or anything.

It is a 7 on 7 passing camp. The teams will play pool play in the mornings and the play a round robin tournament in the afternoon.

It is usually one hand touch and the players wear helmets only.

I UT has done this the last 3 years.
