Juniors Declaring early

Hunter can't catch, block, run upfield, or take contact
Bray can throw 55 miles per hour, but not to our receivers
Richardson is not eligible

JJ and CP are the only ones to be "worried" about. And really, CP is the only one thats not immediately replaceable

If you're an NFL gm, what's the earliest round you'd use a draft pick on Bray? Can't imagine I'd use anything better than a 6th right now.

After this game I like our chances of retaining Hunter and Bray. I see CP hitting the road but the kid needs 1 more year to be a solid #3 WR 1st round pick. Just depends on who we get at HC. All things considered we have a descent squad next year if our DBs can work on their speed.

Richardson might leave

Patterson is definately gone.
Do y'all recall how last off season, we heard rumors the Da Rick was off the team and transferring to Georgia State. None of us put much stock in to it, but before the season started he transferred due to a failed drug test.
I am hearing rumors that Patterson is showing up for class but is not putting any effort in to his classes. So, even had we been eligible for a bowl game, he would not have been academically eligible to play in the bowl game.
He is gone.........

Hunter, Patterson, Bray, Richardson are all gone.

Tiny will not be going anywhere...unless he sits out a year....the rest of the o line will try their luck with NFL..along with z rogers, Rivera, in other words... offense side of ball will be loaded with NEW talent...

CP needs more work than anyone.

TBH, Bray is a more talented Ryan Leaf -- fool's gold (at least at this point).

He's one of the most naturally talented QBs ever to play college ball but he is erratic, hasn't won a single big game, lacks leadership skills, is immature for his age, doesn't understand read defenses very well (especially for his year), and relies far too much on natural talent both his and the very good receiving corp he has at his disposal to carry him through.

Someone will take a chance on him because he has so much raw potential to not just be good but be great but I pity the team who spends a first round pick on him if he enters the draft this year. He has a lot to prove before he's worth that kind of risk. If he were to prove himself under a new coach in his senior season then he'd be worth it but a lot of his downsides haven't been related to coaching.

Hunter is the only one I'd take a big chance on (and draft picks are chances so that's what I mean by that).

if hunter doesnt start putting his head down and getting 1st downs instead of dancing sideways nobody will draft him he's gotta get tougher

There's not one of professional embodiment in any of our juniors. They would be smart to let a real coach (the next one after Dooley) mold them into productive NFL draft picks. The past game game against Vandy dropped JH, CP, and TB into 3rd round picks at best. We will see all of them next year.

Hire the right guy. No matter how long it takes to find him, no matter who stays and who leaves, no matter the ramifications for next year's recruiting class. This next hire has to be right.
