Razorbacks. I live here in Arkansas so they’ve grown on me. The fans are reasonable for the most part and know what they are and know what they are not. Makes rooting for them fun. Plus my wife cheered for them and my brother-in-law was the big red mascot many years ago.

Vandy, I had a bunch of surgeries there when I was younger. Basically why I'm alive today. So if I had to pull for a different team, it'd be them.

Not in college athletics. The university means too much. I pull for the underdog programs from time to time, but I am not a fan of them.

Texas . . . But it’s not even close. I’m a Tennessean forever!

I think this is the third thread like this since last off season. Wonder why it's becoming recurring subject?

I SHOULD say LSU since I have a degree from there.

But ... since this should be about us enjoying watching young folks playing a ball game, without all the interstate rivalry venom and fretting about Heismans and national ranking , I might just say, ETSU.

Western Carolina University because i graduated there and it’s the first college team I saw in person as a kid. They were really good in the 80’s.

As far as D-1 I’m not sure any other team could capture my heart like the Vols.

I got hooked on the Vols as a kid and spent a lot of time there with my dad back in the glory days.

Buying tickets didn’t really fit our budget but he had a connection who got us affordable seats to lots of big time games.

Those are memories I’ll cherish forever.

I believe they had a guy drafted by the Colts around 2000. Fred Lane. Tragically died shortly after. I think he was from Lambuth, but I know they had a guy drafted.
Fred went to Lane College.
Played for Carolina.
