I was keeping up with it through game cast on my phone and was wondering about all these foul calls, and now I see why: Sirmons.

Someone answer this for me, how can the refs let two teams play the first half and then come out after half time and call an entirely different game? There is no excuse for that. If you are going to call it tight, you have to call it tight the whole game and not make your locker room referee adjustments at half time.

Secondly, Scotty should be embarrassed. And I've always supported him because I have come to terms that he is a player that can get hot and will also get cold. However, it is hard for those who think he can go to the NBA to justify that now. His attitude tonight was sickening.

Cameron off the bench didn't help at all. It's time to sit him, and stick with Bone and McBee. McBee looked very confident, was a pesky little defender tonight, and I think with more playing time can help this team more than Tatum if he can be consistent with his jumper.

Golden shows flashes of being a good PG but still commits way too many mistakes.

That technical on Bruce was pretty bad.

Side note: I think we will be able to play better in the NCAAs, by getting away from SEC refs. We came into SEC play leading the nation in FT attempts per FG attempts. Then, SEC play starts and we are last in SEC FT attempts. We can call it a conspiracy and laugh all you want at this notion, but that is some serious BS right there. Leading the nation to last in a weak conference is a big disparity. With us getting to the line more, our rebounding, and the fact that usually NCAA games are pretty loosely called which will help with our defense, then I think we could make a Sweet 16 push with the draw. Still not ready to count this team out.

GREAT POINTS WITH THE SEC REFS....... WATCHIN ALL GAMES TODAY THEY HAD TERRIBLE CALLS.. WATCHED A FEW BIG EAST GAMES MUCH BETTER REF CALL AND BIG TEN MUCH BETTER... IS IT ME OR DOES THE REFS IN THE SEC ALWAYS HAVE THIS PROBLEM? MAYBE ITS WHY OUR FOOTBALL CONFERENCE IS GREAT./IF U WIN WITH THESE REFS U CAN WIN WITH ANY

Yup, blame the refs, not our horrible offense that forgot Tobias was dominating. That's it.

And you call out Scotty, when he was the only one who showed heart at the end? Really? Please.

Yes, what was so sickening about Hopsons attitude?

I didn't know showing heart at the end made up for his pouting in the game and on the bench throughout the entire game.

Ah, you thought he was pouting. I am sickened that you would be sickened by that.

So pouting while in the game and just going through the motions on offense when Parsons is making you his *****, is acceptable from a guy that has NBA potential. And then when Pearl put him on the bench, he was pouting again. Maybe you don't see anything wrong with it, but 90% of Vol fans have a big problem with it.

Really? It was pouting? Because he was the only one trying in the last five minutes of the game. A person "pouting" doesn't try and bring his team back from the dead.

I know his body language looks bad. But honestly, I don't think it means anything. Just because he doesn't put on a mad face doesn't mean he's being a bad teammate. There have been multiple, multiple times this season where he looks like he's "pouting" and then comes out guns a blazing.

This is an exaggeration. He piled on some meaningless points at the end. Big deal.

I also didn't know giving up 12 points to an All-SEC player was him making you his *****

Just because you let the last 5 minutes form your decision about Hopson, doesn't mean the rest of us forget the first 35 minutes.

When the game was in the balance, Parson made Scotty look like a *****. There's a defensive aspect to the game as well if you didn't know.

Yeah, he wasn't good the first 35 minutes. I also don't blame him. Florida basically doubled him everytime he dribbled inside the three point line. Why you think Tobias had so many open lanes the first 20 minutes?

He's carrying a lousy team, and to be honest, he's probably tired. Not just physically, but mentally and emotionally. He has no PG, his big men can't hit a layup, and he has to play 35 minutes a game, because Cam Tatum decided not to try basketball anymore.

No, because the game was done. I don't find padding stats when both squads know the game is over something worthy of praise.

I don't think it was padding stats. It was a 10 point game with 3:30 to go when he hit a couple shots.

There are no SEC refs

Might not be "SEC Refs" but there are squads that call SEC games. You know in SEC games, you are more than likely going to get a ref like Greene, Sirmons, or Valentine (who also calls ACC games). Just like in the Big East you are going to get Burr or someone else. I might be mistaken but the NCAA tries to shy away from officials that call a lot of SEC games to be on a game with an SEC team.

Sure it was. The game was over and Hopson knew it. If Hopson was so concerned about winning the game, he wouldn't have just taken off defensively the last 4-5 minutes.
