Secondly, Scotty should be embarrassed. And I've always supported him because I have come to terms that he is a player that can get hot and will also get cold. However, it is hard for those who think he can go to the NBA to justify that now. His attitude tonight was sickening.

Golden shows flashes of being a good PG but still commits way too many mistakes.

Well, I posted this prior to the game (in a "more to the point" thread which somehow became something completely different).
"Just wanted to say that Golden, despite shooting horrifically again, played well. He was disruptive on defense, he got the ball up the floor and kept the offense flowing. Did a quick +/- and got: Golden +15, Goins -7.
Also, Pearl always wants a scapegoat, but if he makes Scotty it, and does the doghouse routine on him (as he definitely did in the Arkansas game -- probably because of the Kentucky game), we might as well not show up tonight."
Scotty's in the doghouse. Pearl has dogged him since the Kentucky performance. Scotty doesn't respond to that. Anyone should have seen this performance coming.
I have no idea what "mistakes" you're talking about on Golden. He again shot poorly, he made ONE bad pass, and messed up once doubling the low post. His assist/to ratio is over 2:1, while Goins is just under 1.6:1. Plus minus in the Florida game was much like the Arkansas game: Goins -15, Golden +6 in almost identical minutes. The nice comeback in the first half was with Golden in the game. He's got to start hitting some shots at some point, but if "point guard" means "floor manager" he's by far the better option.
