and Bruce Pearl looks like a guy who just finished a live speed reenactment of the Bataan Death March.

Maybe this will help him concern himself with some of the "details" he has overlooked for a while now.

He actually did nothing, a bunch of kids who did not want to respect a program did something. If many of you remember a kid who was highly recruited and signed a LOI for UNC, got busted for intent to distribute marijuana in NC. He moved on to Ok St, and had a decent college career. The truth is the Coaches do some investigating in the recruits attitude, work ethic, and discipline. If a kid decides to act out of line once he start a new life at a program, whose fault is that?

Pearl was trying his best to make kids have passion and work hard. It is the kids who need to face a gut-check on whethere they will can move past whatever life they had at home and become part of a univeristy, an athletic program and a family in Tennessee.

Perhaps we can now get rid of the gang look. Getting rid of the headbands would be a nice touch too.

As disappointed as I am in this team, I don't care if they wear turbans as long as they can show some sort of basketball IQ.

Sure losing the players hurt his team but I bet he's a little more hurt personally that it was Tyler.

This is one area where I actually agree with Cowherd...

I can give a football coach a pass in areas like this for an isolated incident. A basketball coach has as many assistants as players, and should know what the hell is going on with his players. Especially with the number of players involved here.

I'm just waiting to see how long it takes the fairweather simpletons who got sucked in by the Pearl sham to chisel the egg off their faces for saying the reason they didn't support Jerry Green's teams is that they were filled with "thugs." I assume those idiots will be holding a ticket burning bonfire outside TBA tonight.

Yea, because a coach is supposed to keep a leash on men in their twentys.

It's a hell of a lot easier for a coach to control and manage 12 athletes compared to 100 athletes in a basketball vs. football standpoint. Very successful programs don't have these problems all too often

We haven't had these problems all too often either. We've had dismissals, and ex-players that committed crimes, but nothing like this. I wouldn't call us very successful though.

exqueeze me?? headbands and tattoos have nothing to do with someone being a good person and/or basketball player.

No, image has nothing to do with anything. Jerry Green would completely agree with you. If you have no expectations of your team, you get the kind of results we are now dealing with.

A couple might need to prepare themselves to start wearing toboggans Shawshank Redemption style.

Any comments to share From Bernard King? Wasn't he the featured speaker? No real freeness of speech on his part to comment on the criminal element considering he was quite the criminal himself while he was here.
